VAT registered garage, using genuine parts to the manufacturers specifications.
Depends on the item Matt, if you can prove you've serviced it then I would argue that a coil pack should be covered, if it isn't I would contact Ren UK.
Service interval is a year or 18,000 miles on that....
Its gone 2yrs and 43,000 miles and never been serviced?! I expect the original oil is lovely, good luck with the warranty.
LOL @ £2K for a sunflower, anybody thats actually been out and bought one recently rather than sitting on here speculating will realise that £2.5k is right on the money. I looked at several ph1s before buying mine and mine isn't mint. As Daniel says its a 9 year old car on 69k, theres going to...
Your best of getting a breathable one, I just bought one from Halfords, was about £50. Its worth bearing in mind the car has to be clean when you put the cover on or it will just rub s**t into the paint.
Whats the mileage?
EDIT: just seen you don't know.
I would price it around £1700, unless its done a time warp 10k or something, i ve seen the early ones like that for a grand.
I could take you out in the phase 1 if you like, im based in Christchurch but work in Poole. Flashing light could have been the traction control or engine management light.
Not worth a massive amount in white tbh, i ve had mine advertised on and off for a while, had a bit of interest but nothing much, I never drive it, its just nice to have, I took it into work about 3 weeks ago but haven't touched it since, just bought a decent cover for it so happy to keep it...
"Since its make-over less than two years into its life, the 172 has lost all the visual aggression it had. It's now hard to tell it apart from the more humble versions, and parked next to the Cooper it looks almost like a hire car"
Bang on tbh, phase 1 FTW
25 point check is done for a reason if the brakes had failed up the road the first thing you would of said is its just been into your garage and threatened legal action.
Cambelt- Its in the service book, 5yrs/ 72k whichever is first, if its a 2000 its coming up for its second one, mine is...
Keys are unique to the vehicle, when a replacement plip is ordered it is built in the factory in France to chassis number, hence why they take so long to come in.
Buying a secondhand key off ebay is a waste of time.
I very much doubt they would advise on changing something that didn't need doing.
MOT's aren't very strict at all now tbh, as long as the brakes are above minimum thickness and it passes the brake test it will fly through.
The reason behind the 25 point check system is as follows: If your...
Did they give you the clip test printout? Prob isn't missing at all, they run like a bag of s**t at idle.
So you've had a diagnostic done and it turns out that theres nothing wrong with it, I don't understand why your pissed off? Obviously they could of flogged you a new set of plugs or a coil...
