So after 5 years of using the RS2'd Stripped out noises rattletrap of a clio as my daily, I've taken a company car as part of my new job.

Surely you have reg (or something close) just report it to police, job done, move on. Police will record it and if it's the correct reg they will probably put a marker on the car to stop it for a word. If it's wrong reg they they will just keep eyes open for a chav wagon with Similar reg.

I did have a pod there but it obstructs the view (if you're talking about left of binnacle on top of dash) pillar mounts are also terrible for vision obstruction when in low bucket seats.
