Renault won't accept any responsibility, IIRC paint warranty is 3 years, plus damage is essentially self inflicted.
I wonder if you have caught a small stone clio with the jet and that's what's lifted the paint.
On my old engine yes, a fair bit as it was breathing heavy, I did just run a small breather filter off the inlet but it dropped oil on the manifold, hot manifold plus oil didn't seem like a good combo.
My new engine doesn't breath as heavy so only a small amount collected.
Take it back to whoever rebuilt it?
You really either have been very unlucky with this car or have a total lack of mechanical sympathy and have managed to destroy another gearbox.
With the Mocal tanks you can have both the 'in' and 'out' pipes on the same side.
The breather pipe from back of engine and a 'out' pipe that vents to atmosphere with a small breather filter on.
Doesn't appear to be speeding? Seriously? He is clearly going well over the limit, after the initial impact he ends up 100yards down the road.
Sloane Square is a 20/30mph zone tops, the guy is clearly driving like a bell end.
Tbh, won't matter one bit to him, either wealthy enough to shrug...
I doubt that a key scratch down the side is going to knock £500 off the value of the car.
Personally I'd touch it in best I could and leave it at that.
Good call, pretty sure I'd do exactly the same if it were mine.
It's strange as it 'should work' and probably would on another colour, just not Inferno :)
G 172 she's a Lurcher so think could make for some interesting footage when she's on a run.
Very slim and lean so think the chest mounts maybe a bit big, think I may mount to her collar.
No worries mate, I'm more thinking out loud at the mo (Clios off road) and want to look at pictures so I can work out where mounting can be in the car rather than buying and finding the mount / locations no good.
I'm trying to work out how to rig it up on my dog as well, I'm thinking gaffa tape...
Old mans just picked up a Red Mx5 on a 03 plate, 1 owner, FMSH, Hardtop and under 60k for a weekend toy, bargain at less than £1000 as well.
Paints good but will benefit from a run over with the DA and some polish.
What's the paint like, Hard? Soft?
I've got Green, Orange and I think White...
