What's Red Mazda paint like?

Old mans just picked up a Red Mx5 on a 03 plate, 1 owner, FMSH, Hardtop and under 60k for a weekend toy, bargain at less than £1000 as well.

Paints good but will benefit from a run over with the DA and some polish.

What's the paint like, Hard? Soft?

I've got Green, Orange and I think White Hexlogic pads but need some more polish as my Menz has run out, any suggestions?

Be very careful most Mazda paint is seriosuly thin!

Iirc jap paint is typically very soft. The Honda and Subaru I played with only needed finishing pads

Hmm, so maybe just a finishing pad, some Rejuvenate and a coat of Triple would be a better bet, topped with either Desire or Tough Coat.
