I find it very hard to believe that the other guy was speeding looking at the impact photos
No tyre marks at all on the road, the broken bits of headlight are only meters away from the junction which indicates to me virtually no slowing/braking time at all
Yet the impact resulted in...
Yes that's a seperate discussion lol - if there is cctv footage and the OP wants to make a complaint to the police, they may go out and give the guy a warning for speeding/dangerous driving - but even then the best he'll get is the insurance company to go 50/50
Insurance companies are a bit...
As I said if there was a corner where the OP couldn't see the approaching car - or it was so far away doing an insane speed and he couldn't see it then yes that's an extreme and different scenario
But look at the damage on the photos - just a caved in bumper and a broken headlight - the guy...
That's exactly what I'm saying - you can't control what other people do on the road, but you can keep yourself safe.
If you can't judge the speed of approaching vehicles then that's a fairly big issue.
If it was a blind corner the guy came hooning around the OP couldn't see the car when he...
Ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so you think it's more likely that 2 people have made up stories and gone to the police to try to incriminate you for the accident, rather than just accepting you pulled out where you shouldn't have.
And there's a corner you went round where he wouldn't be able to see you...
This forum gets a little bit worse every single day I swear
You pulled out of a junction where there wasn't room for other people to avoid you and got rear ended. It's entirely your fault.
If you can't judge the speed of other cars then you shouldn't be out driving on the road.
Yes he was...
I'm sure that's wrong as it's high vacuum on idle which then leans the FPR off by applying the higher vacuum to the diaphragm - when you've got the throttle open it's low vacuum which then gives you full fuel pressure.
If you had a leak in that pipe you'd lose vacuum at idle and just get worse...
LOL You're welcome - I forgot though this is CS.
Everyone thinks £20 isn't worth waiting so everyone goes and buys one straight away - Irony is there will be more than 10 of us buying them this week but no-one has any faith in anyone else LOL
Oh well.
Give it a chance guys - Nick suggested waiting till Thursday next week - that's one week to get people on board.
I'm pretty sure when burpspeed/james and the other track lads see this it wont take long
Hopefully I'll have my name down tomorrow - so then we only need 6 more :)
I think mine closed is around 23... when I originally fitted them (they were 2nd hand) wide open they were maxing the TPS out - so I just stuck the laptop in the engine bay and loosened the TPS, turned it around until it was about as central in it's range as it could be.
The TPS sensor is usually adjustable by a few degrees each way so it depends entirely on what angle it's bolted to the Jenveys
I just open up the omex software with the power on, connect to ecu and read the raw value for closed, then put my foot fully on throttle and read raw value for open...
Haha I think the next one we'll be doing will be the CSS meetup and convoy
But me and Batesey will put something together for after that too - I'm thinking of organising a karting day at newark or at PFi :)
I've invited you to the Cliosport Lincolnshire facebook group...
Errr you've not used their actual name (pure motorsport, satchell engineering, satchshift) etc.., you've not posted this in their own forum. How were you expecting a response?
I'm excited too but I can wait lol
I popped over to Modded Nats on Saturday and got a photo of your car. I absolutely love it!
If you ever sell it - I want it as my daily haha
I was going to say hi, but I figured I'd be the 800th person introducing himself and you'd have no idea who I was lol
Anyway looking forward to...
Yeah shame more didn't turn up on Sunday that said they would... but it was awesome meeting you
Maybe we could organise a Nottingham meet near Diamond Motors - would be good to meet Mick and it's only a short blast down the A46 for me :)
Haha I best drag myself out and give mine a quick clean then.
I'll bring the camera :D
Hope you can make it - would be nice to put a face to the name :)
Routers aren't a dhcp server at all - in fact most routers don't serve as a DHCP server
Routers use packet headers to determine the best flow of network data, switches don't.
It just happens that most broadband routers also act as a DHCP server.
The statement that you can't have two...
Absolutely fine.
Done a load of short runs to work in traffic, a 2hr session at cadwell, an hour at virtually top speed, loads of varied driving
I haven't noticed any numbness or anything negative at all, it's precise and lovely. I love being able to set the assistance to what you want for the...
