Looked into getting a Clio 182 the other day. Seen one on 70k, Aux changed at 42k, Cambelt kit done at 59k but no dephaser.... Slight worrying tbh

Yh i heard apparently they don't die they just get a little noisy. lol

So spoke to sell today! Car is on 70k, AUX belt was changed at 42k and cambelt changed at 59k. Dephaser is standard from factory and never been changed.

On the retina MBP you can't replace the screen but because it is still under warranty then apple with replace the whole upper clam shell. I had a issue with my screen, sent it off to apple got it back within a week.

You are just more dedicated than I am. I don't want to drive 3 hours for a car to find it a junker and waste me time.

That is what I was thinking, he said he was looking to get at least £3000 for it. But like I said as far as I know it needs a new aux belt and it is on original dephaser. Why would you change cambelt and not dephaser for the sake of like £100 you might as well.

I was told it was done at a Renault specialist they did I cambelt did that cost him £500 all in. From what I know the aux needs doing and the dephaser hasn't been done. Oh and standard exhaust so probably could do with being changed.

So basically check the receipt to make sure it had been done. Is the dephaser changeable on its own or would I need to do a whole cambelt again?

Looking at a car that is for sale, the owners says it has had cambelt kit fitted and a genuine Renault garage for £500. All I want to know is what does the cambelt kit consist of, would that be dephaser and aux also ? Thanks

Still unsure I might sell the Turini's as that tires are so expensive compared to 15" cups

I think the main thing is go just be vigilante, I use none if the 2 step safety features and have never had a problem. People just assume they install an antivirus software so it's all safe. If you use the Internet enough you can spot phishing emails and fake sites a mile off.
