I personally don't find spending apps any good. My method is every week or month look at your bank statement, look at what you spending money on and see where you can cut back.
That in my mind is standard protocol got this whole situation. If you get a link in an email then punch it in manually. May take slightly longer but risking fraud and getting your life wiped out makes it so worth the time.
Not always as it is easy to fake a web address just because it says gmail.com doesn't mean it is legit. One recently was a phishing email going around, the sender was hsbc.co.uk, imitation is easily and widely done.
The fact is a bank will never ask you to login to check your security details. They will tell you to go to the website, but won't give a direct link or they will call you.
Just to them up and then an extra quarter turn, the gasket should cushion it (I posted your gasket btw). Just be careful getting the old ones off, recommend getting the exhaust hot to soften them up a little.
Or you just smash it then claim of the insurance ? My insurance covers loss but not accidental damage, all you do if you break it is tell them you lost it. :)
If there is a link in the email saying "Click here to login" or something along them lines then don't click it. I have a natural habit that if I get asked to go to a site via an email I do it manually by searching the web not links. It may be the email is legit but it always pays well to be...
If you broke it then they are no way obligated to give you a new one, you broke it so its your problem. Being apple they may do something as a gesture of good will but your best bet is your insurance. Like somebody said remember they're is a big difference between broken and faulty.
Attach the phone to the pc
Turn the phone off
Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds
Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.
At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.
Fairly simple but always good to know :)
The brightness is a OS issue as I have the issue :) Apple with patch it eventually. As for the battery it sounds like it could do with a calibration. Charge the phone to 100% and then some. use the phone as normal and drain it till its completely flat, to the point it shuts down. Recharge to...
But yet your dad can receive text's from other people? Anyone else on the same network as him? Tbh just tell him to ditch the Nokia and get a decent phone ;)
Leaking sunroof = yet another common fault :) I had that problem I stripped everything around my sunroof then went OTT with silicone sealant to stop it leaking. Temporary fix is to run Vaseline on the outside edge between the rubber and the roof :)
Friend was breaking his clio, had the new sensor on it so took it and replaced the one on my car. The old style one on my car wasn't faulty but it is such a common fault I thought I would be proactive about it :)
Common fault on Clio's you can replace it with the old model for about £10 or buy the new model Renault released, has 4 pick up points instead of just the standard one. I believe also its more watertight, as that is what use to kill the old ones.
