Going ok mate, few niggles that need sorting but they can wait until its run in and Mike and James can do them when it's back in to have its map checked.
Then after that it's suspension refresh time, money pit lol.
It may come off the road to have that done though for a few months as I'm...
When I say tight beading I mean Vs the Tripple on the left of the picture the Spirit is tighter.
Car was washed last weekend but has done 100+ miles since so there will be a degree of dirt on the paint.
So, it's been wet and windy the past week.
Couple of pictures of the bonnet test panel.
Observations: As you can see both products are offering protection (Tripple and Spirit)
Left: Tripple, beading well although not as uniform as the Spirit.
Right: Spirit, nice tight uniform beading
Think you will need to put some photos up and details of what the damage is to get input from people.
Best advice I can give is become a full member and make good use if the forsale section which will probably have everything you need for the rebuild.
Yes.
I'm 33, 11 years NCD, nice post code and pay £400 fully comp with a 200bhp limit with everything declared on a like for like basis.
It's cheaper for me to insure a F455 than the clio.
Is it worth the hassle over £75?
If you're that fussed about 'one upping' them just turn up with £75 in coppers and pay in that.
Personally I would just pay up, lesson learnt and find a decent specialist to use in the future.
I would look at Mike at S&MWM for mapping, nearer to you and his work is top notch.
In fact, I would drop him it James a PM or phone call and discuss your options with them Ref which kit (if any of the ones you listed).
Well mines a late 2003 172 cup.
What sort of budget have you got, what are your requirements?
172 cup is 'basic' aimed more at those who want a good B road blast car and not fussed with comforts.
172 has cruise, leather seats, ABS etc
182 cup - don't bother, bit of a pointless model.
182...
Test One for me, unfortunately the weather stopped play but I managed to get the products applied to the chosen panel on my car before rain stopped play.
Not many pictures I'm afraid as my SLR battery was flat so had to resort to my Iphone.
The car was pretty filthy having been down to S&MWM...
I use a Nilfisk 120, very good bit if kit and more than enough power.
If you fancy pushing the boat out though there's a group buy over on DW-
Kranzle K7/122 & K10/122 Official Group Buy
