For those who do give it a go... Spirit Wax is great, very easy on / off and seems very durable. I've got a nice big tub I'm working my way through already :)

As above, get the Skoda one for £12 ish, Renault want £150 ish for the genuine one.

Pirtek are not that costly, and are a great company to deal with... Give them a call you maybe surprised, made me up some power steering pipes for about £60 (not for the clio) when the dealer wanted over £150 + vat.

Having looked at them again, they really don't fill the arches properly and look to small, I would rather the standards or the magnesium ones that a few Vee owners have.

Think I would go option B if it's just a cheap smoker. Sod's law you buy one and the other will go, always better to replace on pairs anyway.

You may get lucky if there is a member local who can pop round and lend you one, it's a 5 min job to swap over and back.

If it runs, but runs rough have you checked on the Coil Pack as these are a known weak point, also check on the leads, are they in the correct order? PS: welcome to the forum.

Yep, gives a bit more mid range torque but drops a couple of BHP. IIRC I lost 3bhp top end but gained 7lbft mid range. That said its torque that moves the car not BHP ;) if you can fit yourself IMO it's worth fitting alongside breathing mods and a decent exhaust.

Very good, my go to protection product. Easy wipe on / wipe off and I've seen 5 months plus durability.

Everything from TB conversions, rebuilds, mapping, servicing and cambelts you name it they do it.

Was up at Covent garden Saturday for this exact issue. They swapped it.

The RS2 filter shouldn't need changing, just take it off, clean, re-oil and refit, halfords sell the cleaning kit for them. If you want more noise then a bigger filter is the answer, I believe James supplies a suitable upgrade filter for those who want more noise. Your issue will be is have...
