those videos certainly look impressive, but the trailers always do...
it's all down to the gameplay in the end for me and Forza is more likely to deliver IMO, wheras GT5 will be probably better visually, however I suspect they will both be epic games
luckily I own a 360 and a PS3, so I can...
I've used them and they work well, it was a Netgear one I had and it was spot on
do you have a PCMCIA slot?
if so, you can get wifi cards to go in there, better than having a USB stick hanging out that you can catch
yeah I had to do it when I changed ISP's a few months ago
did it from the XBox Live website, not through the console
http://live.xbox.com/en-GB/default.aspx
I'd thought exactly the same thing, assuming they'd just come, unplug the old box, plug the new one in and leave
however... in reality, having recently gone from Sky+ to Sky HD myself...
the installer fitted me a new dish & new quad LNB, aligned it to get the strongest signal, then swapped...
cool, I need to download the update...
my PS3 is just a glorified bluray player though, rarely play games on there, but iPlayer is a nice to have, be good if they make it HD eventually
depends on the TV ;)
I have a 42" Panasonic Viera plasma which is 'only' 720p and the picture quality is superb
running various HD sources, XBox 360, PS3, HD-DVD, bluray & Sky HD, they all look stunning
a good 720p TV will be better than a cheap 1080p TV
what wireless router are you using?
I find that my PS3 reacts slower than my XBox 360 for media sharing, if listening to music and you skip a track it's 2 or 3 secs before the next one plays and for movies I get the odd jerk in playback sometimes, it's like the data isn't streaming fast...
force a software update...
kill the power at the mains, hold down the backup button on the front of the box (not the remote), power it up again, keeping hold of the backup button until the 3 lights on the front all come on and the update message appears on screen
