Mine had got more work done than nicks,it seemed nearly as quick before the luminition, the standard ecu packed up so it was only a bit dearer to have the luminition. It was quick but i wanted more power and it was starting to get very hard to gain anymore power and now ive got a 172 that fels...
My mate works for bmw now and thinks bmw are the best things going,i think there overpriced overated and most of them not very quick, isnt the cooper s works about 20 grand
This was what i was argueing about i said the 182 has more spec and cheaper you could spend a couple of grand on a 172/182 engine and still have a couple of grand to spare
What do you know about my old old car ?It had got a luminition management aswell i watched it on the rollers all the work was carried out by hillpower if you think his rollers are wrong take it up with him
The cup race engine uses a different management system aswell to a 172/182,it uses a magnetti marreli system

I might go to tesco again today see if shes there, that welcome car centre that have all the stupid clios they had a 52 plate cup for sale before?could be that one
I seen a 172 on the rollers with a 2.5 inch straight through exhaust with no cat and it was losing power i know everyones gonna disagree with me but it was losing power due to no back pressure
I only used that as an extreme example what im getting at is people concerntrate on 200bhp to much, mine was 193 on the rollers doesnt mean a 200bhp would slaughter mine,
Why is everyone so obsessed with 200bhp,it doesnt mean anytrhing,Ian at europarts who tune r5s always said the same he would have a car in take it on road test and it would be rapid then put it on the rollers and it would get 200bhp.Then hed get others in that wouldnt feel nothing special on...
where did you get them from? Ive just brought a set off speedline, there supposed to be here tomorrow, had to wait for them to come from Italy cost £125 a wheel.
