    Replacing Engine on 182

    Cambelt, aux belt, waterpump are 100x easier with the engine out. Some will say not to bother with waterpump but for the sake of £20 it makes sense to do it for peace of mind.

    Ph1 and Ph2 fuel rails

    Mine's from a Ph1, but it's the later style Ph1 which is actually the same as a Ph2 with the blocked FPR port. Hard to tell from the photo, could well be a ph1 as it looks to be open.If it's for sale then get him to blow down it if he can't otherwise tell. Ph1 will come out the other end, Ph2...

    I'd like to see photos with these claims of 58mm tbh. Mine are 54mm, from a 172 Cup; the same as ALL 172's. Edit. It's actually wound me up reading this thread :banghead:

    No worries, it makes my willy feel big! I just did the old shocks in my pillar drill, but as said it's different with the holes being ovalled.

    Is it a Ph1 or Ph2 engine? Rm bailey was breaking a cup IIRC, so if you're trying to use a ph2 ecu on a ph1 engine/loom that could be an issue...

    It is yep. I wanted KW V2's ideally but couldn't justify another £400 or so ontop, especially with having to modify them to fit aswell. Unsure on top mounts just yet. I've put my name down for an AST group buy, whether that'll happen or not I dont know. I've not really looked what else there...
