Nex 7 should be very special, a poor man's leica m9! It shares the new 24 mp Sony sensor with the a77, specs all over web. I doubt there is an slr out there, bar the a77 that will match the iq of the nex7 with decent glass but given its a rangefinder style camera it won't be suitable for slr...

There is an e mount 24mm zeiss prime will be officially announced next week and out in October. I would like one but prices expected to be $1000 so... This is it pictured on the Sony NEX 7

All via adapters, only 3 native e mount lenses at the moment (4 more next week mind!) but its nice being able to use any old lens via adapter.

The Pen 1 and 2 have the same sensor as the Pen 3 and are much cheaper, pen 1 can be bought for £199, they don't have as many features but far cheaper!

I've just bought an Olympus zuiko f1.8 50mm mij for 20 quid! It's meant to be a very sharp old manual lens.

Last shot is superb, in fact a really nice 'end of summer' style pic, first pic, too much hair in the girls eyes is distracting and shadow on face has lost the twinkle catchlights.

If its high ISO performance you require then the newest sony sensor wins in the Nikon 5100, Canon aren't even a consideration at high iso...

They are ok but in terms of creative photography, your beach shots are better :D

First shotbwould benefit from more sky and try it in black and white as there's not much colour there. Second shot, go lower to capture the reflections of the sky in the water pools and use rule of thirds for horizon.
