There were a couple of crackers in the first set but imo second set is brilliant.

Really like the second one Scott, the water ripples really draw you in. Foreground in the first shot is way too dark for me can you pull some detail back from the raw file?

I used Niksoft Hdr effects pro. Imo HDR for the sake of it is gash but like any tool, use it to suit you and it van work well.

Thanks Bully its a mild HDR, took it this morning and ran it through Niksoft HDR effect and then back into lightroom! This one (I have had two early mornings recently! Was 'rescued' from an under exposed raw file. It was underexposed for HDR but the HDR effect was 'too much' in my eyes...

Yes you do need to pixel peep and its obviously not a better camera overall than a 5d but an interesting comparison nonetheless on the onslaught of technology. There is talk that the 16mp Sony 5n may be better than the 24mp Nex 7 due to too many mp squeezed onto the sensor. Time will tell!

Blue Pete Maybe you should look at the new Sony 5n, not only does it make the m43 cameras look like over priced compacts it takes on and beats (just) a 5D mkII in image quality! And at half the price of the nex7...
