I was lucky enough to have a mate splitting a ph1 172 who gave me the pedal for free lol. Hate to think how much they are from renault
I guess it aint restrictive to power then lol. Oh well mines done now. I'm thinking of replacing my bonnet and boot for fiberglass ones though so handy...
Re: THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE to turning off airbag lights (with pictures) no resisters ne
^^ No
I had my airbag ecu reprogrammed by clip/rstuner to say there was no airbags in the car - worked a treat. But as soon as you remove the side impact sensors the light comes back on. So it's no good if...
Harpham - you considered getting 10 or 15mm spacers like the ones Ed's selling for the rear. They go between the beam and hub - so move the entire hub further out meaning you could use the bolts you have now
Then get some 25mm hub centric spacers at the front and you won't need any new bolts at...
That's really interesting - most people wont mirror the NCB, just give you a bit of a discount
My main car (Passat) has my 10+ years NCB on it but they wont mirror that onto the Clio so it costs me a fortune.
Clio definitely does less than 5k a year but adrian flux still wanted £650 for it...
It does just fit without chopping - but the "bulge" at the front of the bonnet where the catch used to be presses down on the filter - visibly squashing it by about 5mm.
I didn't like the idea of half of the filter being pressed tight up against the bonnet - surely not good for air flow - so I...
Do you know I'm honestly not sure about the error logging - I'm sure it can put fault lights on so it might still report through ODBII some basic error codes.
LOL They don't really affect noise or power but I believe the 120mm's offer torque a bit lower down than 90mm's. My 90mm's are really...
Yeah defo - seen what K-Tec have done recently with some ex cup racers and it's quite awesome. Gen90 fully talks to the digi dash. They can supply everything you need
That's the thing - I ran -2.5 last year and the tyres wore really evenly on the front on the track days I did - so don't really want to go adding a load more camber.
I'd rather get the spacers fitted and go out and see how it handles. I can always add more if it needs it
Hahaha nutter - I think I'll just start with the 15mm ones. I don't want to go too insane with camber as I will be using it as a weekend blaster during summer and I remember -2.5 being a bit lively lol
I don't think there's room for 25mm on the fronts mate - I ran -2.5 camber before on my billies and there wasn't 25mm of room between the tyres on the arches.
Possibly cos I run 205/50/15's?
I think 15mm on the back with an extra -1 camber should be ok, as the cars run -1.5 on the rear as...
Ahhh nice ideal then. I'll 100% have them off you mate!
Just seen tweeks do some 90mm fairly hardcore studs so I can whack them on the front and then 75mm on the back - then get some bling wheel nuts lol :D
Sounds ideal mate - drop me a message when they're for sale.
I was going to buy the pure-motorsport stud kit (it's expensive £130 but seems really good quality and I know James runs it on his car) but they say only to use up to 12mm spacers.
Looking at the gap on the front of mine I definitely...
Crap update to this really but I did fit the KW's before christmas. Cleaned them all up, greased where needed to try and stop them seizing up in the future.
Unfortunately only took shitty iPhone pics and the front is way too low lol
Chuffed to bits with them - much much better...
Definitely go gen90. The omex is a pain when you have a dashboard lit up like a christmas tree if you want to keep the car for road use.
Those 120mm trumpets will require a different filter and a deep backing plate. You'll also need to lose the entire slam panel (which you will with 90's too)...
I did a LOT of research into this the other way round as I got offered some 182 cup coilovers I wanted but I have a 172 cup
Driveshafts are the same length, so are the wishbones, balljoints and track control arms
As far as I can tell 172 cup and 182 cup hubs are interchangeable
The only...
Sold my ATV2 and bought two ATV3's with the money
Idiots
1080p baby.
As others have said if you wanna jailbreak it just get a lesser brand or an arduino or something. The whole point of apple gear is it all just works
