Sadly the legal position forums are in these days is stupid - if people go slating the quality of something they haven't personally bought or had any experience with it's technically libel - and the owners/admin of a forum can be legally held responsible
I've personally had 4 court summons...
Yep go with digital rev
I've had £800 bodies and £4-500 lenses from them
Pretty quick delivery, good customer service
BUT order from their website not their ebay account.
If you buy from their website you get UK warranty from a UK based company. If you buy through their ebay account...
Ok more contradicting than irony - defend one company for delivering crap, slate another for the same thing
Not really sure what you constitute as qualified either - there's hardly an "official mapper" certificate - they're both self taught
Wow... I started off by saying RST had poor marketing skills using facebook to **** another tuner off... but K-Tec just took it to a new level lol
Considering they are claiming 191bhp from an exhaust, filter and remap - which isn't much less than they're £2.5k ITB kit produces (which...
Yeah ok - so in response to RS slagging them off - all they've done for the last few days is post rolling road graphs - including high power turbo ones that apparently they "just found so had to post"
191bhp from a 182 with a cheap filter and a "pro remap".
I'm out... just making themselves...
You can't turn around and say "we have no problem with the company just that one person"
That person is employed by the company and does their mapping. The mapping is a service customers pay for from the COMPANY not from the individual.
If someone at my company was providing a poor service...
Maybe the noise was louder or more apparent because I've got the PMS top mount and strut brace kit
If not then I have no idea at all lol
When they were off the car with the strut in the vice you could move the shaft around and see visual play in the top bearing.
But if it's all good for you...
f**k me - 12 straight hours of coding yesterday, I couldn't even put a post together LOL
I'm pretty sure it's just upside down :)
Hahaha I'm not tinkering just for the sake of it - there's quite a bit of play through my steering :(
Seems more work to fit another PAS rack and bleed it...
*sigh*
I'm just utterly sick of reading it
End of the day no-one that likes K-Tec will listen to a competing tuning company when they **** them off, so it's a pointless exercise and bad marketing
Every single day it's RS Tuning, K-Tec, TDF - and the same usual people kissing their arses or...
Thanks mate - £65 for an RS Twingo rack, £45 for the wiring and about £50 for an EPAS 1.2/dci rack with ecu
£160 for a full setup!! Bargain really
Oh plus whatever cup inner tie rods are and some new bushes..
VTR box is way too long and it has huge holes between 1st 2nd and 3rd - it's a horrible box
Citroen whacked it on the VTR to slow it down because there wasn't enough of a gap between a VTR and VTS
My old GTi had a VTR box on when I bought it and it was utter shite off the line :(
Yeah but it still means having fluid pipes around the place. I quite like the idea of undoing 1 bolt and being able to drop the subframe off the car with the rack still attached :)
If you don't buy that send me the details, I'll pick it up this weekend
My mate had a valvered AX - it f**king flew. I couldn't keep with it in the Clio!
Aye - That's why I want the EPAS - you can adjust the amount of assistance it gives so I can dial it down for track and back up when using it on the road :)
Dave - nope was premature with that LOL
My top mount nut was loose as I'd forgot to torque it after the rebuild. Torqued it up and it's silent now.
There was visual play in the Bilsteins when I took them off :(
Chip - Have to say when I took my car to the 'ring with standard cup shocks...
Just had a look and you're right - the non-PAS racks are more turn to turn lock - so that would be s**t
Sounds like my best option will be to drop the subframe off - whip the rack off, fit new tie rods and new bushes, fill with fluid and fit a loop pipe. Then an EPAS rack from a DCi - job...
