All depends on the severity of damage. I've had some wheels I've fixed (with a hammer) and then balanced out and others that have gone on the bin. If its just a steel wheel you can pick up a new one from the scrappy for a few quid.

My cup a few winters back: Drive fine to and from work, just drive slower with a lighter right foot.

I did mine with PS via my DAS6 went on fine and have to agree the finish was excellent. Although I used it more for winter protection durability rather than looks. Plan to top up with a coat of TC next week and that's it then until the new year.

Tough Prep is a cleaner polish used to ensure paint is nice and clean prior to laying down tough coat. Tripple is a little like SRP in that it will mask light scratches with fillers whilst laying down a little protection at the same time. This is my old mans clio with a coat of Tripple.

Whilst I agree 99% is speculation, this guy was not just a random MOT tester, he was the Tester of MOT testers from VOSA. He may have decided to just go on a wind up and make comment as I'd got the buckets in the clio, just seems strange he would mention it without reason.

It was only this week I was chatting to him, he was out doing MOT re-certification for the testers.

Washed then hit with AF Tough Prep followed by AF Power Seal ready for the winter weather.
