Stuntys car has gained 9bhp from just an oil change it seems.
Mikes 225 has gained 11bhp from an RSTuner map.
My mate Marks standard TypeR cracked 200bhp.

Going to try and make it down early, meeting up with those coming with me at about 8am in Watford.
Although one of the Scoobys is poorly with a faulty injector so may now be coming unless he can source a new one (non standard unfortunately)

The answer most will give to your question is 'don't bother'.
Clios are of an age and therefore a price to buy that it's not cost effective to be swapping engines about.
It's feasible to do but the expense makes it not a financially good plan.

Sounds like the rod bearings are about to let go in a big way, but I've no idea... Has it been run low on oil at all?
Would suggest not running / revving until someone who knows what they are doing has a look.
