Are you playing through on a harder setting? As I am led to beleive Uncharted 2 is one of the 'easier' games to platinum as most trophies are offline related.

NG+ is hard! +7 weapons are weak! But Makoto is strong! Am currently building a +5 Moon winged spear and a + 5 Moon Knight sword, these should fuse well with my +40 Magic stat. Am also going to make a +4/+5 Crescent Ughigatana(sp) as this gives a good bleed, magic and std rating. :cool:

Someone infected me with the plauge and it really cuts your health quickly, a lot faster than posion. I had to act quickly which is not the best tactic in DS and I died:(

You can just move to an area without enemies and you will be fine should you wish to answer the phone or need a piss - I don't have a granny anymore. Modern games are easy, get hit by a bullet don't worry just move to cover and you will 'magically' recover. That too hard? Well get killed...

Only hardcore gamers need apply Roy ;) Fwiw you can stop at a safe bit in the level and quit the game and then be returned to that same bit when you fire it up again.

It tells you an update is available and then its up to you whether or not you download it - bit like the firmware updates really ;)

Arcade has no Hard drive so you can't play online Elite has a hard drive so you can play online, install games to disc etc (pretty essential tbh!) Both models now come with a wireless controller and HDMI. Alternativly buy a cheap arcade and a HD off the bay if you want to go on line.

Do you mean Il2 - Sturnokov(SP) i know I spelt it wrong! If so thats a multiplat title limited to 6 or so gigabytes by the xbox's dvd drive. GT5 prolouge is between 4-6 gigs iirc so not sure how you got to 50???????????

Just made one!, No its one handed or two, is big and slow, its made from 2 separate swords fused together, the demonbrandt and soulbrandt. I quite often use the phospherescent pole two handed as its so much faster!

LOL New Game + is like twice as hard, even the dregling soldiers in 1-1 caught me out:o But I didn't lose my life and tbh stormed the entire level inc boss in 20 minutes! First time round on 'easy' was more like 4.5 hours! Because I was in body form a Black phantom invaded me! Only thing is...

Completed at soul level 87. Did the last boss easily with a few blues! Got invaded by a black phantom and I bet he wished he hadn't as all 3 of us just turned on him - massacre;)

Each level does have a shortcut to the final boss though, sometimes they need unlocking, sometimes they are already there as in 2-2. Got the final boss today False King Allant oh and the blue dragon first! I may get a couple of blue phantoms to help me though:o

^^Forza demo was nigh on 2 gigs iirc???? Ten times the size of academy which is NOT a GT5 demo. We will have to wait until next year to play GT5 or a GT5 demo.

It will also do audio through the HDMI cable

I think people are misunderstanding this, academy is a 200 meg file loosly based on prologue it isn't related to GT5. Now GT5 may well be poor but until we play it OR play a demo of it perhaps we should reserve judgement.
