Had a new Megane as a courtesy car for a couple of days and I really liked it, in fact I dont even mind the looks, so a 225bhp turbo one would be great!

Its Elf 10W40 semi-synthetic from the factory, but any good 10W40 semi-synth that meets ACEA A3 standards will do.
Some people switch to fully synth after a while (Id give it 10k miles) and in that case a 5W40 is fine, again ACEA A3 rated, just check the label on the bottle.
Probably something vibrating... most likely a heatshield...
Have a quick look underneath and have a little tap/rattle at all the heatshields at the front, youll probably find one of them is either a bit loose and/or too close to the chassis or exhaust/downpipe. Another thing is the wires for...

When I got my Cup (from new) I was a bit dissapointed at first as it was very quiet and didnt really have a "note" as such.
This was in total contrast to my 306 Rallye which had a lovely exhaust note as standard and sounded superb for an original system.
