Well, I do live in Burnley (well, just outside) and I know all about Top Gear, but I am the opposite to you... I want a subtle tailpipe and dont wanna see the backbox under the back of the car, so the Scorpion is ideal for me! Other system I considered was the K-Tec hidden one.

Id be amazed if I got 16k miles out of a set of fronts!!! As KDF says, the better performing tyres are generally a softer compound so dont last as long, and if youre happy with Contis Id stick to them as you wont get more mileage out of other tyres...

The R-Sport ECU and the Hill Power one are the SAME item... Neither one is developed by Renault Sport!

Piece of p!ss to remove... Firstly remove the 90 inlet hose to allow more access, then there are just two 10mm bolts that hold the airbox in place, next unclip the side air feed hose (in front of battery), but there is another air feed underneath thats trickier to get at, but a bit of waggling...

Speedo error is a percentage, so naturally as you go faster the actual error in terms of mph becomes greater. Not tested my Cup with GPS, but my mates mk1 172 was showing 100mph on the speedo and reading 98mph actual, and my 306 Rallye was showing 100mph on the speedo and 97mph actual, so...

Did about 400 miles in my Cup this weekend and it was a great journey, so a 172 with all its lux bits in should be even better... ;)
