Could of been worse I guess. My mate hit a deer in his brand new car few years back did £3k worth of damage. My dad rolled a classic mini when he hit a deer too lol.

The fat fucker done this! Got a new bonnet for £60 and getting it painted for free so not too bad at all really. Was kinda funny seeing it getting bounced about 40ft in the air when I hit it. I was more worried about my cup splitter I had just fitted.

I can see it becoming law in few years time to be honest. Although the amount of people that would break that law would be massive, the cost of winters in some sizes are crazy so would put a lot of people off.

Mine were through Revolution247 in Newcastle, their normal price is £499. He done a deal for me though as was getting winter tyres and full alignment etc done at same time so spent a fair bit of money, plus a couple of mates have bought loads from them.

Nope, sadly over here in the UK it is not a law. Can use winter tyres all year round, or summer tyres all year round.

The xenons definitely do not have better light output than the normal lights. But they are better to look at.

We are talking about 195/50/15 in here though so in that size they are pennies. AD08's are meant to be great in wet conditions, scored a wet grip rating of A.

Sadly they don't in that size. But couldn't agree more with you, excellent tyre for the cost. My favourite I had on the clio in 16".

Spec 2s over proxies. Proxies = budget to me. What size is it your getting? For that range of tyre also consider Hankook V12, Falken FK453 or ZE914 and Uniroyal Rainsport 2s.

Mine does it with certain higher ron fuel as well. Had to put Essos higher ron stuff in once as I was running low, engine light came on knock sensor was going nuts. So no longer user that fuel. Never had to put 95 ron in yet. Only gets Ultimate or Vpower now.

Just don't see the point in blowing £120 on pads for 99% road use and a small amount of track. The set of standard brembo discs and pads will be more than up to the job. I would spend the money on changing the brake lines personally.

Had them on my last car. Thought they were great. Done around 20k with them in, never any issues.
