Just wondering if anyone can help before things get took to bits again or if it just needs replacing.
Basically fitted phase 1 stalk plus Sabelt wheel etc. Once fitted and all back together the ABS light and Traction light were permanently on, so we read about the rotary switch not being...
I have black TPI bolts and black Mcguard lockers on mine.
They are quite cool, look like a spline fit ( I think thats what its called) but they are just normal 17mm bolts and the lockers are 19mm.
He ordered one, got an email saying 6 week wait time. So cancelled it, got his money back and email confirming etc. Then this morning Nexus 4 landed on his doorstep.
The supplier is listing as 7 in stock. They are still used on Smart Brabus models. But just hard to get old of, very rare we see any stock of them which is why you'll be shocked at seeing them available to buy.
If you dont want to spend too much on tyres go for Uniroyal rainsport 2s or Hankook v12s or if you want something higher up the range go for Pirelli Pzero Nero. Michelins are just as good as the Pirellis but not worth the extra £20-30 a tyre.
Best tyre on a budget is probably uniroyal rain sport 2s or Hankook V12s. Have a look on camskill website then just get them fitted at a local tyre fitting garage.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Seen a few non rs models in the dealership at the weekend, they look great in the flesh.
Can't wait to see the RS model.
Nice pictures Piers! Was a good day out, and a good crack.
Funny when my brakes were on fire lol. And smoke piling off the winter tyres haha!
Will get the Scottish one arranged for July time.
Nope, never had Contis to be honest. Had pretty much everything apart from them.
Will always stick with Pirellis if they are available in whatever size I need them.
Sadly in 15" they aren't, so will be moving to AD08's.
AD08s are epic wet and dry, not even that bad on standing water unless your being a hero.
As said I would still change the dogbone mount, the difference it makes for the price is great.
Same with the Phase 1 gearknob, whether or not its actually any better I don't know, but it certainly feels...
I have Spax PSX spring and damper kit, seems great to me, Had Bilstein B12s on my last car and they seem equally as good as them.
But I bought my kit at cost price so even if they only last 2 years for what they cost I wouldn't be fussed.
Wouldn't mind trying some Konis or H&R next time.
