Re: how much have u sunk into ure clio
Clio was free in a sense, traded it in at a garage and my car was worth more.
Had it approx 9 month and bought
Spax spring and damper kit
Meercat catback exhaust
Speedline 2118s
Whiteline rear arb
Sabelt wheel + boss
Various carbon fibre bits
Trophy...
Some expert will be along soon, I hope haha!
ABS light has now gone out and only traction one remains on when the car starts moving after I have just started it up.
Seen something like these on another forum, they were made from carbon steel apparently. Less than 3000 miles later it had snapped and almost caused him to crash, he got lucky.
But these could be great for all I know.
Look forward to seeing how ocd clean you keep this haha.
Quite tempted by that rear badge, my original plan was the other badge and ditch the clio hmmm.
Would be custom for me 99% time, very few off the shelf systems I would buy.
I always take mine up to Meercat exhausts up in Scotland. Probably a bit of a trek for you though.
Out come all the people who were at the accident saying what happened.
Unfortunate, but at least you hadn't left it out in the road otherwise im guessing it would of been written off.
Should be repaired easy enough for not much money.
Plenty in Stock at our supplier, could possibly see if they will ship direct. Otherwise it would end up being 1 day to us then 1 day to you.
If it ends up popular we would end up keeping it on the shelf.
Yeah they are a great all rounder.
Its what I will be using on mine after the winter tyres come off.
Great in the dry and the wet too because of its full tread pattern. Scored an A in wet grip tests on the new tyre labels to!
I think Markcup on here uses them on his 200, he seems to praise...
Exalto 2s in 205/45/16 have been replaced with Pilot sport 3s.
Never ran continentals personally so couldnt comment but never really anything bad about them.
Pirelli, Conti, Michelin etc would be a bit better on a track day as they are of a harder compound but then they are more expensive by...
I would say better than t1r. T1rs are very soft. Can't imagine it would take much heat to ruin a set. It doesn't take much to ruin them on the road.
Both soft tyres though for a track day technically.
If its wet, which is likely in this country then it they will be a load better than the t1rs.
For similar if not better levels of grip than the T1rs for that price, look at these.

Yes they will fit.
But at 50 height in profile I would be worried that they would catch the arches. Even if on the standard suspension set up and especially if lowered.
Any particular reason you want to run that size?
