    Detailed my Mum's car.....AF Rejuvenate - WOW!

Rejuvenate via DA pulls out a lot of dirt from the paint with a softer pad, but that's some impressive results. For jobs like that, its handy to have something like tough coat available. Takes minutes to apply and remove and works great with the products youve used already

    Glass sealants, worth it?

Other than the authorised GT detailers I wouldn't have thought so. Im sure there would be a local member that's used it before

need help removing polish from textured plastic surfaces?

it goes a little way to removing it, mainly down to the scrubbing affect of the MF cloth with the bumper care acting as lubricating agent. pencil eraser or all purpose cleaner scrubbed in will be the better options.

    My Detailed BG 182

Looks nice. A note for future reference, use the sealant first, then top with the wax, will last longer as the sealant won't bond properly to a wax, and will affect the wax

Heard it was illegal for speedo's to under read?

Directly, no. Indirectly, yes the width will have an affect on the rolling radius. You should have reduced the profile size when increasing the width

    topping up wax?

I peronally wouldn't touch it unless it's been washed first. As for how long between washes, when ever you want really, there's no rule. I normally do it every 2 weeks unless it's snowing or freezing when I don't bother

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

I've not used supernatural so don't know how tough it is, but tripple will go some way to remove a little of any previous wax layers underneath it. As for layering, it can affect durability if they don't work together. You should NOT put a sealant over a wax, but you can layer a wax over a...

    topping up wax?

Im currently doing 3-400miles a week, town motorway and rural onto building sites, daily trips to muddy stables. Ive managed just over a month from the AF show wax, so suggest you look again at your technique and products used to wash your car

SRP will remove a wax to some extent. A ph nuetral shampoo and quick detailer wipe down will look like youve just waxed it again

1st time detailing! heres my plans and the order ill do it in?

Also super resin polish isnt a true polish. It will fill minor swirls and cleanse the paint a little. As for waxing, after you buff off the first layer you need to leave it to cure before applying a second. And with hd wax don't really need two layer straight away
