Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Apparently it was running at 4am - I'm a little worried about how much sleep everyone will have had last night lol
Maybe might be interested - but this is a September Lincs meet thread lol.. can we keep it uncluttered please as I want to try and get some better attendance this time without confusing people with other dates :)
Right - shall we say 3pm at the Pride of Lincoln?
We'll have a quick meet - put some names to faces - then go for a bit of a drive somewhere, take some pics and grab some food? :)
23rd September - 3pm - Pride of Lincoln
1) Phil - Clio 172 Cup

OMG - that's what jubilee clips are for
Both my CV joints have been held on with Jubilee clips for 2 years since the renault stuff kept popping off lol

Is the target just to finish the race without breaking down? *hides*
The sides of it (in front of the wheels) is just pushed and clipped in place
Line it up with wear it needs to be and give it a hit with the palm of your hand - it should clip into place

UPS are quite an arse about stuff like that (I work for a massive UK courier provider who integrate with them). Usually the sender has to ring them and ask to change address or arrange a collection, but half...
I think the appeal to it is exactly what you've listed - use your eos lenses on it
I'm getting one - it's a no brainer
I need something wide for pit shots - a 28mm 1.8 is nearly £400 now and the 16-35mm f2.5 is £1k
For £800 you can buy an Eos-M with the 24mm f2 pancake lens on which is...
This was exactly why I didn't bother
Number 2 is a superb photo, well timed, technical, excellent DOF - would have got my vote
I knew an olympic shot would win so didn't really want to waste time entering, same reason I've not been on flickr cos I couldn't stand all the exact same shots...
Nice font.
They aren't all £1500+ the basic wilwood 4-pot kit from K-Tec of Jamsport is about £600
Why do you want them though? Unless you've got a lot of power or it's a track car - they're way too much for road use.
Just stick to Brembo HC discs and some good pads (ds2500's are good for...
The brackets come with their ITB kit - have a look at that or check my progress blog
They're about £30 but fit really well - if you give them a ring they'll sort you out :)
Considering the average ClioSport user - I think they're more than appropriate for the nature of the forum :p but i'll throw an ASW Clio shot in just to keep you happy ;)
Clean - September 2012 by Phil_Barker, on Flickr
Really sorry guys - but I've been asked to work this weekend.
I might still be able to pop over late on - but not sure
Other thing maybe worth mentioning is we're having a small 106owners meet in Lincoln on Sunday 23rd. Maybe we could do a bit of a joint meet?
I literally did the same thing this weekend - spent 10+ hours cleaning the Cup and then sat drinking a coffee looking at it and realised just how much I love it.
It's suprisingly clean for a track car
That's really kind of you mate - I'd really appreciate it
It could well be injectors - the ones I got with the Jenveys didn't work so I'm on my Cup injectors but they've done 116k lol
It is - but the loom on mine is shite. Loads of bits too long.
I've got a slight misfire and looking at the wideband when it does it - it goes lean. So I think either a faulty injector or a bad connector on the loom
I just thought if I could pick up another Omex 600 loom cheaply enough I might...
That's a hell of a time. Last time I went I had full leather interior and the car was standard other than eibach springs. Did a 9:38 ish but had to slow down for an accident in the middle.
When I go next year I really want to be in the low 8's - should be on r888's and with 200bhp and a diff...
