Theres no choice - V6 all the way, and thats from a CTR driver!
Dont get me wrong, the CTR is superb, but its not in the same league as the V6.
Practicality might be a problem tho ;)
The service interval on a cup is exactly the same as a 172 or 182 etc. 12,000 miles or 2 years.
Other petrol clios in the range (dunno about diesels) have an interval or 18,000 miles or 2 years.
Hope this helps!
Eh, you should have a look at the route of the guys who came up here on the easter weekend.
BossCup knows a good road up that way, I remember which tho - sorry!
Yeah, I noticed that Lee with the CUP, the CTR seems to heat up much quicker - if I was technically minded Id explain why but Im not, so I wont! lol! ;)
Ian - youre a d*ck - have some sensitivity.
Glad the 2 (3) of you are ok Jas - thats the most important thing !
Hope you get it all sorted out to your satisfaction.
I think the exhaust note will improve with miles as the system "cokes" up a bit - i think the cup did the same, and the CTR is doing the same just now.
I wouldnt worry about it :D
in terms on handling feel - there isnt much that can come close to a cup for the money!
I went from a Cup to a 2004 Civic Type-R and the handling feel is drastically different - the cup is much better.
I agree with BossCup about the brakes, they dont really need ABS unless you are realling...
Hi,
Does anyone know if motorpoint will offer either of the 2 "cup" options on their 182s, specifically the suspension option with the dark wheels?
Many Thanks.
Type-R is not for everyone! Its up to your taste, make sure you test it for a bit to see if you like it!
182 is a different kettle of fish - much more like a hot hatch!
you might need to change the fuel filter now tho, if its blasted all the sh*te from the engine into it. Dependant on the fuel youre using and the age of the car I would think.
Wouldnt have thought any lasting damaged would have been caused. :)
Agree with you there Lee, shes not ready to make an offer just yet so we havent phone the seller to confirm its origin.
Thanks for your input tho!
Cheers ;)
