Sunday clean and treated to some Autoglym Life Shine and dressed tyres and plastics etc

Yeah the standard wheels have seen better days to be honest Twins LOL! Im glad I went for it now was looking at 172 cups but ive had one prevoius and RB when clean is so nice cheers it was hard to find one at the right price and mileage etc

Just spoke to them and the car is having the cambelt etc and dampers done at a specialist in Northumberland not sure where tho So might view it with this in mind

Yeah ive pressed that it was my 1st thoughts because it tripped when i did my engine change and wouldnt start then. Its anoying when youve fixed something but dont know how haha

I did try a new crank sensor first with no effect forgot to mention that, but ive left if on just incase looking likely to be wiring then, I might un wrap the loom to try and inspect it better then

Drove my ph1 to work the other morning all was fine, then went to move it at dinner and would not start was just cranking. Had a quick look and found it wasn't getting a feed to coil or fuel pump when cranking so checked all relays and made a jumper wire to pump and coil but still no joy...

Also got another set of f1s to refurb and put on As you can tell there gonna need some work!!

Finally got the brake light fitted in my spoiler and trial fitted it Just need to bond some brackets on now so i can bolt it on!

Flatted back and a cut n polish for the cup spoiler, Just waiting for my brake light to come then i can get it put on :-)

Got a package today from Chris at CM composites ! So cracked on with painting, just needs some laquor now :-) Also on the lookout for a cup brake light now too!

Gave it a bit of a clean and got rid of all the mould round the boot lid and took badges off and cleaned behind them as it was doing my head in lol! Also attempted to spruce up the 2.0 side badges but turned out a bit gash !

Fitted my new rack bushes today and noticed that only the drivers side of the rack had a little tab for the bush to sit into Is this normal for a ph1 172 ? Had someone in the car while I checked for play in the rack after and was none Also car drives better than before so not too worried I guess

So its safe to say the rack bushes were shot to s**t ! I know why ive been putting it off tho, what a absolute t**t of a job on your drive Also a new handbrake cable fitted, so it should be good for MOT time now :-)
