Connects2 - CTARNIPOD3 - this is the 40pin connector - if you have a newer model apple device with lightning port you can get an adapter from apple - drop Matt (MTAudio) and see if he keeps these
The op's post isnt thtat clear tbh - does he mean he wants just an aux and no radio, or an aux adapter....
If the no radio option it will need to be amped before speakers, if keep radio then will just be an aux cable - id say the post about the amp was clearer than op tbh
Tell that to the copper when he's writing out a fine for what is now classed as dangerous driving over careless driving - its not me you'd have to convince
Run it like a boss to a brodit pro clip with active holder which will charge your device at same time ;)
Also if its an ipod/phone - better off just getting a connects2 apple interface so u can control through HU,
Mind unless the device is in a holder then its technically illegal to change...
Hen night maybe - but cant see many birds wanting to get in a clio with lights like that [emoji23] - thought u were meaning footwell LEDs - each to their own - mind dnt get caught driving with them on [emoji106]
There are 3 parts to the xenon lights - blubs/ ballasts/ ignitors.
If the old bulb was smashed then it would have failed for obv reasons, if the replacement bulb is intact - it could be a fuse (both sides are fused independantly) ballast or ignitor.
Ballasts can get damaged from water ingress...
The stalk controls are the yellow block, (in simple terms) in your pic you can see a longer plastic lug this should be facing to the outside of the black plastic block,
To check:
1. Check that all the pins line up and enter into the yellow plug
2. Is this the connects2 'ctsonylead' you are...
Bottom right on back of hu is a blue socket - plug your patch lead into this :

Fitted loads of parrot kits before stick the the 9100/9200 as the ck3000 is rubbish, autoleads do io - not much experience with these - only fitted a couple.
The extra power depends on what hu u are using some hu's have an option to power through the smb connector - if in doubt just run this to ignition feed, as noted above copper strap is for earthing as the aerial is powered, so a-pillar off is easiest fit
Just put a molex cig lighter behind dash and spur it pff fuse box?
Or just run straight from fuse box- dont see any complication as long as you inline fuse
Sounds like an issue with the adapter, would have a visual check at pins on adapter and check theyre all secure and theirs no damage - connects2 had a good customer service so will replace,
Also check the rear of the stero and make sure the pins for the changer arent damaged
All aftermarkets stereos will require stalk control adapter, cheap as chips though - connects2 adapter is plug and play- PM Matt @MTAudio and he can sort you out
Bit confusing as your complicating things by quoting model numbers, im presuming you are putting the alpine into the boxter?
Are you getting 12v on red/yellow when ignition on? And is the earth (black) matched on the iso?
When i worked at halford the made to order saxton matts were really good quality - around £40/50 for tailored mats - but can take up to 2wks, else wise when i had my clio the geniune renault sport ones were decent - white piping tho
