It will fit as theyre standard sizes, clios are just tight for space, best thing i found was to grab cables frm passenger footwell side and pull cables down as u slide stereo back, ive put parrot kits and loads of radios in these - nevr impossible
I think the op was wondering if anyone knew why these wouldnt work without ignition on - not arguing the case about why it failed on mot,
Not had experience with this but id be looking at relays first
Couple of attempts to read - could do with more full stops ;)
Id be going for a rca convertor with adjustable gain output, unless this is what your already using?
May sound stupid, but im presuming you have connected to rear speaker cables? - have you set the fad/balance to rear to see if...
Where is the amp earthed? Ive only had one amp go into protect and it was because of bad earth. If its happened 'out the blue' id be going round and checking all connections are tight, and run a multimeter past power/ignition/earth for continuity.
Worst case - have a sniff ;) at the vents on...
Had this happen on the 182 I used to own- was ps pump and got progressively worse, first thing to check is ps fluid level. If low top up and keep an eye on it, I later experienced it happening again (year/ year and half later) - not sure if it's 'common yet' but there was a cut in the ps pipe...
There is a button on most pioneers that switches ipod control between HU and device - possible the hold the return arrow(?) :s - been years since I've fitted stereos on a regular basis tho
Set the HU and sub/amp to factory, start pumping some tunes, then while doing so increase the gain and bass boost on the amp, then once you have some thuds move back to HU and start tweaking settings there. If it's punchy bass your looking for then gain won't be that high, what active sub are...
We've got some mutual friends (used to work in Halfords seafield) - heard yours is putting out some good power with turbo, mines is soon to go but great little cars
I would fix it but no spare cash as its all tied into flat, moving in in 2/3weeks - so reckon I cld get near £1k? Or is that optimistic? Js need a quick sale- so being honest with all faults
Will be seeking my clio at mid/end of November and was just trying to gauge what the car is worth. Will be looking for a quick sale and have a friend who is interested (mechanic who can do all required work). Details below:
05 BG 182 non-cup with 97k on the clock. Dephaser and belts done by...
Could you not just get the 30pin to lightning adapter? Or u wanting it out the glovebox?
Was going to suggest an autolead io play, but it wouldn't cut out for bluetooth as it's wired between the stereo/speakera
Did clock you on my way round, had the car for a couple of years. Stay in pathhead but work in edinburgh (soon to stay in edinburgh) so car will only be around for another month max
Lol what I presume he ment was what your standard radio was- ie tuner list or update list, if it's a 1*2 with display/clock at top of dash you need the 003- also an alpine patch lead- PM Matt (MTAUDIO) for a good price - sound guy
If it was unwashed then it was me, needs a good clean and some cosmetic work, but it will be sold before I get round to it,
Miltek decat fitted, pops and gurgles when cold- got it like a gunshot on leith walk today, 28yo old going on 17 lol
There are some clios without display which use differnt leads to the ones with display regardless if you intend to use it or not- if you get wrong lead it won't work, connects2 is plug and play behind radio whereas armour/autolead requires top of dash to be lifted to connect behind clock. Id...
Alright,
Was wondering if anyone on here has replaced their own screen? I understand the iphone 5s screens are glued to the digitiser(?) so it's easier to replace as one assembly rather than replacing the screen by itself.
I've read varied reviews online about fixing yourself - but looking...
