I presume you have attached to to the red before the bullet connector as the red going into stereo should be ignition feed, which if you stereo goes on/off fine would mean that the yellow (before bullet connector) would be ignition. So switch the remote to the yellow, or it looks like there is a...
My understanding is that hids should last at least 5-10yr (factory kit), could be wrong
Best bet is to remove head lamp and fit the bulbs as will be easier to cut the covers neatly, and will be easier to position bulbs- you do realise you existing bulb holders prob won't take a hid bulb right...
Also my bets are on ballast/ignitor, generally xenons will discolour and fail over time (go blue/greeny) as there is no filament to 'blow' unless there's a crack in bulb
Halfords sell a crimp on connector, will have to strip core back to get decent signal, search radio ISO connector- alternatively u can crimp on a bayonette. Soldering wld be better tho
There was a recall on ph2 latches - covered loads 'search'. Local dealers should replace but if like mine they said its not on the list and they would no show me the list and they won't replace for free,
I'd be putting money aside for dephaser on next cam belt change if there's no receipts for one being done. I see loads if 1*2s going up for sale around 70-80k, might be coincidence with dephaser/might not, I never researched when buying one and had to fork out within 6months of ownership.
I've got a 182 with miltek and decat also- I usually average around 30mpg- £45ish a week for me, sometimes that will last close to 2 dependn how I drive
But just had a blip on the way home with a golf r32- never looked at fuel needle as it wlda been guzzling ;) held him off for a good bit tho...
The red cable that goes into parrot box needs to be constant 12v, the orange needs to be switched 12v. The earth is the black cable.
If you hook both up to constant live the kit will not go off.
The mk3 stereo is CAN and the parrot will only go off in sync with stereo if you get CAN adapter...
Never realised u had mk3 presumed, as alistair says ignition feed will be required- easiest bet is to tap of cig lighter with scotch lock, or get some spur fuses and tap into fuse box, easy
Took bumper off and turns out the hose was jammed behind grille after the garage had the bumper off last, so after routing it properly the washers both work fine now, roll on the MOT ;)
Standard ISO wiring, may have to change the red/orange on parrot for ignition feed/constant supply so screen says 'goodbye' when key out, best place to mount box is behind carpet at centre consol side in passenger footwell, it's a pain to get all the wiring behind stereo but can be done, most...
Yeh looks like thts going to be the answer, due to lack of replies and search hits there's no mention of fixing the nozzle unless leaking, will get one ordered up tomorrow.
Had the bumper off before when a ballast died, sore placed and siliconed both.
Presume the washer is just held on with a...
Sometimes it may flash up where mileage is then have a series of dots, this will appear when oil is low- not as extereme as oil light coming on when u have to stop, but I'd check oil levels if they're low then there's ur answer- else wise could be a faulty sensor
Not a top hit on search bar so new post :)
Got a faulty xenon washer, where the divers side won't squirt. Had pump replaced not long ago and passenger side works so know that's all good- so must be the washer part.
Quite happy to take bumper off an fix if there's a way of fixing these...
No fuses for speakers, did swap speakers over to test? Generally it will either be a broken cable @ door jamb, or loose cable behind stereo which would cause such a fault.
Mines made a squealing noise, started off infrequent the over time got worse, turned out to be power steering pump. Took it to a specialist as I was clueless and it was diagnosed straight away with bonnet up/ turning wheels. (I think, could be wrong) that since it was knackered the belt was...
Cnt answer question directly but remembered I'd seen a similar post not so long ago, by the looks of it u need to get seat with new airbag & airbag module then clip to reset ecu, link to thread below for some light reading until someone can give definitive answer...
