think i'm going to take it down a garage at the weekend to get it checked over, pretty sure it is the clutch though:( too much redlining it trying to keep up with the boyz and drag races from the lights. (only joking, i'm not that guy;)

Tested it: Blue - Lighting Positive Black&Pink - Earth Yellow&Red - 12V Power So its all hooked up, but what about the earth from the new unit? can i strip the black wire and just have it run into a empty connector block? thanks mate

so I've bought a new (universal) 12v socket to fit into my mk2 clio, as mine has broken :( but I'm having a bit of trouble with the wiring? The original has 3 wires running to it, (brown, blue and yellow/red) where as the new one has a red and black cable? The red having a spade...

Coming back from college down the m40 and managed to hit 110 with 3 passengers and 10kg+ of luggage. Bearing in mind it's a 1.2 does this seem right? Wasn't downhill so wouldn't be the momentum, but this was at about 5k, could probably push it to 115 if I hadn't of s**t myself

Probably get my second year ncb to take it down below the 2k mark
