sorry to say it but user error.
2 sprays of tough coat onto a MF applicator and spread it round a panel, leave 10 - 15mins for it to haze then buff off. 3months minimum Ive had from it, others ive managed more. pouring it on is asking for trouble, the more you use the longer it takes to cure so...
tripple, blackmax, amigo, britemax all in one,
can't go far wrong with Z8 or megs endurance gel
guessing you want durability from your wax? I'd still bin the 476s. Britemax liquid sealant or sealant wax, Z2, FK1000, GTechniq C2, AF toughcoat
vinyl and rubber car works on tyres but doesn't last...
If hats the case then you'll always get through more shampoo than you need to, and with some shampoos probably end up affecting your wax or sealant to some degree with the excessive amounts you're likely to you.
If you want a sudsy shampoo then I can't think of any of the main wax safe...
Blackmax is fine for all colours. gally has used it and considers it similar to amigo I believe, again I only used a sample. It's a very fine finishing oj jewelling polish that fills well also.
Not tried the all in one but think of it as similar to tripple I guess.
The shampoo you only...
Glisten is a love or hate product
Finale is very simple, is a good basic QD that doesn't affect water behaviour or beading, so some will be looking for more in a QD.
The original gloss tyre dressing looked nice but durability was dreadful, yet to try the revised formula or the new satin...
if you want to stick to one shop...
SRP or britemax blackmax as your mild polish / glaze.
you can then seal with either britemax sealant or the liquid wax you mentioned. should last 4months dependant on wash and weather etc etc. once you get the hang of application you'll use less. a bottle...
stick with the SRP or tripple rather than the that listed. never used the wax
the britemax bits are supposed to offer good protection, will be much easier to use and remove and leave a better finish than the 476, not sure if durability will be quite as long, but as said is so simple to apply...
I tried using AF Revive and it leaves a good base, few weeks later it's lost its gloss but the tyres are still black and not faded. So I just top up with AG as I'm trying to find reasons to use it up
Pre wash - a rinse with a hose or a citrus bases spray that will help break down dirt and traffic film, softens it all really for a.proper wash. Some use a pressure washer and snow foam for this.
Wash two bucket method - this is the safest way to wash a car and the method ans products gally has...

This was half way down the first page of the detailing section. Read this first then come back with any other questions and we'll fill in the gaps
What material is it that needs cleaning. Isn't it alcantara? Raceglaze sell one that is often recommended

Colour charging does have the tiniest, tiniest amount of affect on the car depending on which DJ wax you get, as long as the car is white or similar, and do 4+ layers, otherwise you won't notice the difference. Orange crush does.leave quite a nice warm glow though
Start off by reading all the...
Depends which products from the brand you're looking. Generally pretty good easy to use products. Not the best but certainly not the worst
What are you specifically looking at? Do you have a good wsash technique? Car decontamination, swirled etc etc
Lovely car, sh!t write up. Too much attitude, sounds like you've been bullied recently.;)
Did you find much difference in working the new C1 to the old formula?
Ag hd wax with decent prep will last you 6months easy, resists dirt and contaminants quite well. General dirt after a hard week is unavoidable after that mileage, I do something similar and its more weather dependant. But at the end of the day the wax or sealant will prove itself when you come...
Yeah accepted. Correction side of things I'm happy with after the days at AF, Russ was quite good and did a bit if one to one tuition with me. But glazing etc that I do more of I'm not happy with the results.
If the pro version is able to offer a little more cut over the standard DA but...
will have a play with the amigo sample on rotary then, but typically I've not thought the DDJ was as nice using with LP, rejuevenate etc.
pretty sure someone of DW in Ashford, Kent has the 801 (-KEV-) so might try and talk him into letting me try it out
wasn't keen at all on the EP800, the layout, the feel and balance of the internal movement. granted it provided better cut than the DA but not a lot more, and less than I'm getting with the Spin Dr. I'd consider the EP801 provided I could try it out first to see the balance of it's moving parts...
I had heard that the extra torque is more of a 'cruise control' as with the revised G220. is this like the speed control with the DDJ machines that when it bogs down it speeds up to compensate. Or is the extra power just that, and gives more torque to stop it bogging down?
rejuvenate by hand? again a MF applicator, the tri foam or AF's dual pad works quite well. allows a good split between filling with the added cut. But again with these products you're not going to get vast amounts of cut unless used with machine.
Maybe look into the lake country hand cut pads...
you won't notice any cut unless you use it via machine. it's not the product for that. if you want a product that will mix fill with cut look at rejuvenate, lime prime etc.
