its pretty good for the money, think I picked mine up on special from argos for £43. not the best at giving that real thick shaving foam consistency when snowfoaming as the more expensive washers so just means you have to turn up the dilution ratio a little. other than that is still pretty good...
Zaino Z2 and either Z6 or Z8
Autofinesse toughcoat and finale
Britemax 'extreme elements' and 'spray & shine'
werkstatt kit
all the above are simple to use giving decent durability and looks
Some people (me included) prefer to use a wax and also prefer the finish. I personally preferred the warm glow of a good wax that didn't mute the flake.
Russ has seen great results with LY and Z2. My views are that some sealants are more picky about the base that they go over, but Z2 and TC...
lazy b@stard!
one wheel off a weekend, job done. how can you clean and prep properly if you're not taking the wheels off? only coating the outside face?
sounds good! is this the original or UK version.
GT C5 on wheels isn't that bad, as said by others it's all in the prep. So if you coped with CQ I'm sure you'll find it easy
for durability, I couldn't fault autoglym HD wax on my LY182. can be difficult to apply and remove if over applied but typically is very good and can be found on line for £25. worth it IMO.
Staying with wax, looking good but not great on durability is Vics collectors yellow. looked lovely...
Russ seemed to quite like the drying towels IIRC. As said I'll purchase a litre if you split it.
I wanted to reply to this thread but cba! Far to many not taking on board the advice or experience people give out

Cup would have them all in the twisties, fact!:quiet:
I'd be looking at the tt or s3 for a good combination, but as Toby said I'm too old to be driving an all out performance based car without comforts
last winter I found a local garage with self service pressure washer and just took along my bottle of CP, found it worked better than my AB snowfoams, and didn't have to worry about neighbours complaining about water and bad weather
well, being a social foamer I'd be happy with 500ml / 1l if you sell it off.
Used tripple on my SV at the weekend, even my wife commented on it looking better
I personally think the OP has got off very lightly with such minimal p!ss taking considering he started a thread to tell us he's washing his car next week.
Had it been a regular user and not a newbie I'd have given them some stick. Imagine what would have been said to Sir Dave if he told us he...
Generally prices are fairly comparable albeit the shampoo is a little cheaper. But I think you'll find you typically get what you pay for. You can find better performing products for a fraction more.
So you can't get better than AG, fact, is not actually true?
was just thinking the same when I read that, lol
AG has its place and its uses. but I can't think of one product that I can't think of at least one other manufacturer that hasn't got something better.
In 5l pro bottles Av is 30, CP is 35. Admittedly I do use maybe 1 1/2 to 2" of CP compared to the standard 1" of snow foam. I guess it depends on how often you're going to use it. Regulars will probably see a saving. Me as a social user as such with a 5l bottle it'll still take me a far amount...
Citrus power works through a snow foam lance, probably won't hang as long as their dedicated foam but provided your LSP is lasted it's enough to clean properly still with a pressure rinse after
Now see I really liked Passion, spirit I like purely for how long it holds it looks, water behaviour and protection for, but passion wasn't far from it and was soo nice to use. But Desire is pretty special feeling.
As said everything generally seems to work so well, especially complimenting...
