Ye I know. I use to think my car was around 11.5. But I got my AP-22 and the truth came out. At first I thought it was the AP-22 but I tried it on my mates Megane 2.0 16v and he recorded a 8sec 0-60mph which is about right.

Just a post to see if anyone has measured there 0-60mph time with a timing device like a AP-22 etc. I normaly get around a 12.5 using my AP-22.

I hope you dont get it free I bought it yesterday. You might only get it if you have a Renault Sport car.

Just a quick note. The normal 1.2 16v not sport range ie dynamique, extreme, billabong are pretty crap to drive, suspension too soft and the steering lacks feel. The sport range is a big improvement. Thats why Im on my second one.

Meganes not nice. Inside looks cheap. But itll go like sh*t so it gets my vote.

They should of kept it blue. Or if they wanted another colour should of chosen a colour you cant get with any other clio, 172 included.

It was mentioned in EVO that renault was thinking of dropping the 172 and just having the cup with a option list. I assume this would include all the colours of the 172.

Whats happens then if you buy a new reno on free insurance. Then after the first new you trade it back in for a new one with free insurance like I did.

Ive always wonted to go to a track. I just cant afford it at the mo. New tryes and brake pads can mount up to a lot of money.

Does anybody know if a supersprint backbox will fit a 1.2 16v. Ive been on their web site and they only list ones for the 1.2 8v, 1.4 16v and 1.6 16v. But their all the same code. Is the 16v exhaust system the same. Also is the backbox easy to replace.

Saw a clio with the kit on yesterday. But as it was going the other way on the M6 didnt have chance to have a good look. But from what I saw the sideskirts as replica 172 one.

Ye very nice. The tints are a bit to dark for my taste but it does look very nice. Its lowered just right.

EVO recon the MK1 is faster. Might be due to the smaller & lighter wheels.

Mines lowered 50mm on 16" mk2 172 alloys with 5mm spacers on the back. No problem

But you get carbon fibre and a nice red intake behind your grill.
