Noticed the adaptor they sell but can't see how that would make it any easier to fit
Evening,
My mechanical knowledge aint the best, not terrible but not great.
I'm having some handling issues at the mo and I think to try and solve the problem I need to understand what's what.
If somebody could give me a quick run through guide from the steering wheel through to the wheels...
O dear :dead:

Pretty sure the vents are merely painted on lol
My front right side took a heavy knock on a kerb a couple of month ago, handling hasn't been right since, seems very keen to follow any lines/dips in the road, almost like when you're driving along tram lines.
I keep meaning to take it down to North West performance to get some professionals...
Hi,
I'm having some serious issues with my handling at the moment, feels very loose and doesn't seem to want to carry any weight under breaking or on the bends.
I've had a few people look at it who are quite knowledgeable but they can't seem to figure out the problem, so i'm keen to have...
Does anybody know where I could find a diagram/list for the fuse layout of a 182?
Headlight adjusters don't seem to be working (pointing down) so just want to rule the fuse out.
Going to pick up a 182 rear axle tonight, the fella over the phone sounds a bit clueless 2bh and the fact he said he thinks it might be off a 2003 model made me even more sceptical, but he's assured me it's def a 182 axle.
I know they're thicker than the 172 but wouldn't imagine that's too...
Saw you in the distance so thought i'd boot it too catch up :rasp: Give me the thumbs up when we stopped.
Saw you again last night although I was in a 406 estate (don't ask :dapprove:)
Unfortunately on the way home tonight the car has lost traction span, hit a kerb and gone onto it's side :(
Car has been took away and put into storage, police are happy and not taking things anything further.
Now i'm with Brentacre and it doesn't cost any more to declare modifications, I...
Made a thread the other week about a rattling from my exhaust, turned out to be the heat shielf on one corner.
But now the rattling has come back and is through the rev range rather than just at a certain point, even at idle, I should add that i've got no carpet or seats so the slightest...
Seen you a few times but you never seem to make the most of the lovely twisties...
But the other day you did to my suprise lol, I was the black 182 behind you, think you nearly lost it on that last corner :rasp:
Around 3k revs I get loud rattles from the left side of the exhaust at the back, suspect that around that rev mark the exhaust vibrates in a particular way, it's doing my head in now though...
Just wondering has anybody had the vibration problem before? It's no doubht catching at a particular...
Some of you may remember a thread I made asking for a photoshop with the red ultra legs, well they're now on along with a few other little bits.
Just wondering if somebody can photoshop the wing mirrors the same grey as the front badge please (just the painted part)
Thanks :approve:
My dad was ordering me some through his garage, they didn't have any of the 83's in (I think it's 83) so has instead ordered me 95, presume this has no negative affect on the car and can only be a good thing?
Was concerned that they might be for heavier cars and will be too rigid for the clio...
My serie rossa's are due to come on friday.
Thinking of ordering some custom vinyl's.
It looks a bit different to your standard clio sporting turini's and a civic aeriel I know but I want to try and do something unique with it, just wondering whether you think this is good unique... :dapprove:
Fairly certain it's 205 but seen a thread just now (yes i tried to search) where a lad said you can fit 195 or 205 and it's just down to personal preference, what's the benefit of having a narrower tyre??
Had car lowered about 4 weeks ago and even before this was done it felt a bit squirmish when breaking at speed, not what I was expecting before I bought the car.
I'd like to get the tracking checked just to make sure all is fine, reckon this will solve the issue? How much can I expect to pay?
Sounds vile to picture in your head but got a bit of an idea..
Just wondering are there any red and grey patterns available? And if so which model and would they fit onto the roof?
I asked for a photoshop of these wheels on a black gold once before but had a couple of different ideas and im ordering the wheels next week plus ive now got pictures of my own car so thought id ask for a photoshop :approve:
I would like the Red Ultra Legerras photoshopping on again..
Only...
Thought this thread might be interesting and useful.
I'm planning on going up the strip at the weekend, now im a comlplete n00b to the drag world and the fact I've only had the 182 for 4 weeks doesn't help matters.
But I'm just looking for what is standard practice in a 182 on the strip...
Going with Corsa-C UK on a sort of mis-match of cars stand (just a way of getting cheaper tickets 2bh) but I wouldn't mind seeing all your cars for some ideas and having maybe a few goes on the strip with a couple of you, not been up it before so want to see how I compare
Lets just say I love how it's changed the car :D
In terms of weight, there aint a great amount there but including the bar I reckon thers a good 40-45 kilo there, which seems to of a made a nice difference through the lower gears.
No rattles either, I suppose with less things there is less...
