i was reading that thread about new mot standards and basically if its not their they cant test it to fail so your ok, but if you have washers and they dont work your need to get them fixed.
So it seems the cheapest for a fully running, taxed and tested is around
700-1k for a 172 phase 1
1k-1.5k for a 172 phase 2
And 2k for a 182
Does that sound about right?
The cs police will be along in a min to tell you if you fit centre caps on 2118's then you have commited a cs crime lol
People have done it before its a DIY job though, you can't get then for the 2118's. Think you have to make a cap flush with the hole then hold them in place with super glue.
I personal wouldn't like spacers on track 1. their increaseing your unsprung weight 2. theirs always that thought 'what if they give up and I loose a wheel now'
if you are worried you can buy a new key from renault for around £200 i think and that will include coding which will mean the key you lost will no longer start your car.
