No need to follow up with SRP after #80 unless thats part of your LSP combo
If your just doing #80 by pc then you will be highly unlikely to get into trouble :)
Rich is right, polish is fine, wax is not
Even with their ovens it may not be fully baked - don't forget when its factory baked its just a shell with no rubbers etc so temps are much higher than an aftermarket body shop.
Given the state most cars leave bodyshops I am alwaus dubious about...
^^I actually posted a few pages back that the teflon particles would be suspended in a waxy substrate rather than being bonded to the paintwork. Paintwork would burn long before 572 degrees was ever actually reached.
Its not necessarily a bad product, i'm sure its very good but the teflon...
The fact that its being termed a 'polish' when indeed teflon is used in waxes says it all really! If the poster knew the difference between a polish and a wax it might give it some credibility.
The teflon won't bond to the paint but will be suspended in a caranuba suspension, whether it beads any better than a normal wax is yet to be seen. No waxes containing teflon are currently seen as having any advantages or benefits over an ordinary wax.
Swissol/swissvax shield also contains teflon
However as teflon must be heated to stupidly high temperatures before it will bond to a surface it is more a marketing quality than a useful one in a wax.
^^Agreed its not a bad thing it will however wear off with each wash so is not a permenant system.
Also the finish on that merc is still badly swirled which as a final finish is poor in my eyes. That said it was extremly bad before lol so it has been improved upon.
Whilst the right hand side is far from perfect (in my eyes) it is a hell of an improvement. Is that a BMW? I am 'dubious' if the correction is from applying the sealant alone but if it is then its got pretty imprerssive filling capabilities.
A plastic polish should bring the headlight up
Has it actually gone through the paint on the bumper of is it just the remains of her bumper? Try gently rubbing it with some SRP
