Yeah, she has now admitted that she tried to clear the frost off the windows (5:30 in the morning) and the wipers were stuck, so I thought shed blown a relay or a fuse...
Will check the fuse box later.
cheers :)
Might try taking the switch out & testing it...
Had my reg numbewr checked on the ACTIS system and its all clear...
The "clunk" noise you can hear from the back of the car is the bias valve, but they all do it (apparently) so just becuase your Cup makes that sound it does not necessarily mean it has a problem.
Other cars I had on my list when deciding on the Cup were...
Civic Type-R
206 GTi-180
MG ZS180
Focus ST170
Leon Cupra or Cupra R
Ibiza Cupra
Octavia vRS
Golf 4Motion
Mini Cooper S
Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo
Impreza (UK model)
Integra Type-R
etc...
The windscreen wipers have started acting up on my GFs P-Reg 1.4 RT during the past couple of days...
If you put the stalk in the intermittent wipe position it just wipes constantly at normal speed, so there is no intermittent wipe now!
Also, they do not park themselves anymore...
Very rare for a steering wheel to be exaclty in the centre mate...
The camber of the road also means that the wheel is slightly off centre, mine is too, just live with it.
Just checked Cahoot and its now 6.5% for the flexible loan and Id rather have the freedom that allows me rather than save a mere 0.3% APR plus I only pay intrest on the outstanding loan amount, not the total.
I looked into this before I got my 306 and came to the conclusion that Cahoot was the way to go...
You also only pay intrest on the amount you owe, not the total loan amount.
Not according to Hill Power who did tests with a 172 & a Viper on their rollers...
If anything it was slightly under-fuelling but not enough to be of any concern.
Whats the deal with a re-map anyway?!
Can they just stick your car on the rollers and "tinker" with the setup?!
Its now 6.8% though... so its gone down! ;)
The advantage is though, that you are totally in control and if the interest rate did rocket (unlikely) then you can just swap to a fixed rate loan if you so desire.
You can underpay, overpay, re-borrow, pay off, in fact you can do whatever you...
