The SilverFusion ones are similar, but different and area actually fully silver to look at, wheras the SilverVision ones still have a slight orange cast, like you can just see in jon_rs pic above...

It doesnt "have" to be the Elf stuff, you can top it up with a different make, but you need to keep to the original spec, so 10W40 semi-synth is the stuff and check its ACEA A3 rated, will be on the back of the bottle!
Use 10W40 Castrol GTX Magnatec or summat like that...
Be patient and run it in as per the handbook mate...
No more than 3500rpm (or 85mph) for the first 1000km (625 miles) is what it says and I did run mine in.
All this about ragging it from new makes them faster than if you run them in is a load of b0ll0x, you either get a good or bad one...
The stuff thats in there now is Elf 10W40 semi-synthetic oil rated to ACEA A3 standard and you wanna top it up an oil that conforms to that spec, dont start mixing oils of a different viscosity!
Yeah, the mk1 only has a single lambda and no probs with a de-cat, wheras the mk2 & cap have two lambda sensors and there were rumours about them throwing a wobbly if you fit a de-cat as the 2nd sensor flags up a fault and the engine warning light comes on...

Mine makes that clucking noise, even though its only a couple of months old and has done from new, I even got them to check ACTIS against my reg and mine was clear, so the newer cars are sorted it seems!?

As Paul said, you tend to only hear the bad things, as people dont vome on and post "nothing wrong" threads...
Its usually only minor cr@p anyway and is all covered under warranty, so dont be put off!
Not just Cups though, 172s are as bad and its luck of the draw.
Only revisions are that the later cars have clear repeaters as standard and do not have a lock on the drivers door.
Also, you can now choose between a blue or silver Cup and specify climate control as a £650 option.
They should all have the Cup badges on the pillars.
Yeah, mine was only in to have the PAS sensor swapped over, so I waited around and just went across the road to McDs for lunch...
