I run a Matt finish splitter and it seems not to show stone chip damage as much as the Gloss ones I have seen.
That said mine is ruined where i have run it into curbs and its snapped.... Going to pull it off and fix it, then spray it Matt Black I think.
Looks ok to me, Belts just done, Mileage is not bad, Had a few owners but at the end of the day the price seems to reflect this, could be had for £4k IMO
I got a VIC Check done on a work mates car, took 10 Min if that and cost £46.00
Looks a simple repair from the Photos, Although as said above if its local, id go and have a look and see if you can drive round the yard just to make sure its all straight.
No not got any, Using up the last of my Naff stuff (Megs Gold Class and Megs QD) before investing in some new gear... Based on the FK the shampoo and QD it will be a serious contender though!
Personally cant see the point in £100 pots of wax when I get a great finish from a £24 (MASSIVE) tub...
I used Jeffs Acrylic Kit on mine, Was great I thought.... Simple to use, Good life span once a couple of layers applied and so simple and quick to use.
Currently Using my £24 tub of FK1000p on bodywork and wheels and loving it, Gives a Nice finish and lasts Months durability wise.... 1 coat so...
Event Tyres = Death
I had a set on my cup when I purchased it, within the space of 5 min driving in the rain I had nearly lost it 3 times so they went in the bin.
The only Event those Tyres will ever be sutable for is finding the nearest Ditch!
Are you the Guy who works somewhere on Croxley Business park? I was passed by an Iceburg 172 last night on my way home (Was in my very dirty Iceburg Cup)
Im sure it was probably him, Black standard looking 172, with K-Tec Recessed exhaust.
Ami172 - Could have been me in watford early evening (Around 6ish)
