No Point IMO, The FK Is so long lasting and gives a Nice Warm Glow to the paintwork.
I personally see no reason to add a wax over a sealent, its a bit of a false economy IMO It adds very little if anything to the finish, and the FK needs no "Boost" to its protection as its so long lasting as well.
Mine will be getting a few coats of FK1000P, will do the trick as the current single coat its wearing has lastwed the last 4 months and still beads like the day I put it on
Brentacre - The staff are always interested in the car and have a knowledge of mods as well. Service is always spot on with them as well whenever I have spoken to them.
In the Politest possible way...
Its not worth it.
A 1.2 is never going to be "Fast".
Chucking an induction kit on a 172 / 182 makes very little difference (Maybe 1bhp) so highly unlikely you will even notice it on your car. If you want abit more engine noise then go for it, but don't...
Renault Watford Quoted me £1300.00 for Cam Belt Kit, Aux Belt kit, Rocker Cover Gasket resealing and Dephser.
I Called Rentech whilst still sat at the booking in desk in the showroom and booked in with them.
Looks resonable from the pictures, Your right about the belt though its 72k or 5 years so if its not been done its well over due.
But making a judgment on a car from Photos is always a bad Idea, a photo can hide a 1000 Stone chips / Poor paint repairs etc etc etc.
Go and look at it, and...
Who is this -
Love the Carbon Wrap was thinking I may have mine done a while ago but was not sure how it would look, but having seen yours I think its convinced me.
I have had one for the past 2 months and like it. It is quite loud and drones on the Motorway, but is bareable (I Did a run from London to Wales and it didnt annoy me or passengers)Has a Nice Tone when driving hard and when warm has a nice Burble / pop on over run, I think its finally bedded in...
Why not just keep the 1.2 save and get a 1*2 in the future when you can afford it?The car looks nice and is cheap to run / insure etc.Seems a waste to sell it on just to replace with another clio with a slightly bigger lump?
This is indeed true althouth under the Sale of Goods Act 1994 (Which applies for 6 years from the date of sale)
States within this Act -
• If a consumer chooses to request a repair or replacement, then for the first six months after purchase it will be for the retailer to prove the goods did...
I had to really Belt mine with a Lead Hammer to get mine off.
If found 2 or 3 hits from the back of the disc away from the car followed by one massive hit on the face at the bottom of the disc did the trick.
Looks Tidy IMO for a 17 year old who is still at school and working P/T.Wheels are not offensive, car just needs lowering to give it a better look.Lights are not to my taste, personally would have popped in a set of PH2 lights.
