My 182 cruise control does this, but not by 10mph.
If i set it to 38mph, it actually reads 40mph on the dash.
Due to the incosistent readings you get from a speedo, I'm not sure which is actually right! Wasnt aware it was a bit of a common problem. Mines out of warranty and it doenst bother me...

I have a spare, Open to offers.
I bought it for the 172, fitted it but took it back out again a week later when i sold the 172 for a 182, its in new condition and with original packaging, which has obviously been opened but thats it!
To go back to the OP.
I just bought a 182 with both cup packs, 54 plate, in Arctic Blue with 20k on the clock for £6985 and I got £4700 for my 53 Plate 172 with 31k on the clock, but my 172 was an import (no cambelt done either!).
I think i got a reasonable deal, I put a post up on here about it.
To give you an idea, I Part'xd my 172 in last week.
2003 53 with 31k on clock, not had camblet done. Totally standard, A months tax and 2 months mot, and then gave me £4700 for it, (had to haggle up from £4425) anyway they have it on their website now for £5895.
In regards to the one you've...
The cost of the courtesy car i think is not taken into account when writing off the car. I had a 1.8 MX5 when i last had a claim, but it was only £88 a day, and i thought that was steep! They wanted to fix my car as they said it'd cost £3300 to fix, but as i was crashed into so far from home...
Renault Customer Service Line or whatever it was you called, is likely to record all calls for quality/training periods, I can see no harm in asking for a copy of your original call, which will audibly show where they agreed to provide the side skirts etc....
Its up for £6985 now, and he wants £2,500 plus my 53 Reg 172 with 31k. I was hoping for around the 2k mark, but as we all know the market is on its arse at the minute, which benifits me in buying but affects me in px-ing!
I regulary see36-37mpg average on the computer, work it out at the pump and its more like 32-33mpg. The computers not that good! But on a tank, i'm on 58 miles to go, done 326 miles so far, but i'll fill it as soon as the light comes on, so will see 345 i'd imagine. I very rarely see less than 320!
Looks like its in the new warehouse now from looking at the pics.
Anyone work at Renault that can tell me if its a UK Car ?
Also, any females who used to own this 182 ?
Seen this for sale, 182, both cup packs. Fancy going for a look.
It has ClioSport stickers on it, is it anybodys old one ?
Any facts I should know about this car?
Can also please also tell me if its a UK Car or Import.
Thanks....

Super is 3-4p per litre more expensive than normal unleaded, so even if you tank it you'd only save £1.50/£2.00 - is it worth it? Just stick the super in! The benifits of smoother idle and better pick up outweighs the extra cost easy IMO.
Re: Brought a car then sold the car - How much have you lost?
Peugeot 306, bought for £3k, spent 5k on lots of mods and repairs, written off for £2500, 3 years later..... Minus 5.5k
Corsa GSi, Bought for 2.3k, spend about 1k mods/repairs, sold for £1700 6 months later - minus 1.5k
