Farmers are all minted if the rumour is true. £100 is a nice, easy, quick settlement, but i'd get it done soon ish incase you need some more money from him.
I'd imagine so, windscreen excess' vary, so unsure of cost. Oh scratch that your TPFT, if i remember correctly windscreen cover is only for us on fully comp.... Could be an expensive head bang!
Saw a Black 172 at ABP Motorsport in Shavington, Crewe today. It was having a full Miltech System installed and Service/MOT, Unfortunatley it failed MOT and needed discs and pads all round :dapprove:. Anyone's on here ?
You cant fail, but the station can refuse to test. It happened to me once when i had a lowerred 306. I then took it to another station that I knew had a pit, he said it was close to the bump stops.... and failed it (on other things!)
I had one years ago on a 306 XSI. £250 for Cat Back, bargain IMO. Obviously prices will have gone up now, but their an independant dealers and build quality can be VERY different from one to another. If your from the Midlands, head for the one in Stafford. Excellent Service.
That is exactly where I am at! But i think if i want to go to the ring, I'm going to have to do my local track, Oulton Park first. I've heard nothing but good things from people who have driven a few tracks, I've passengered with my mates a fair few times, just never had the balls to do it on my...
Nice courtesy car, shame you wont have the weather to use it with the roof down!
As for insurance, regardless of fault you still have to say you've had a claim in the last 3 years, as has been said, it may or not affect your premium.
I had a none fault accident 18 months ago and the payment...
If your after a service, go to Birchdown (malpas)
I'll be booking mine in just as soon as my goodridge hoses are delivered. Come very well recommended on here, look on the dealers sub-section.
I used to get 33/34mpg in my 172 ( computer said 36 )
And i get 30/31 in my 182 ( computer very accurate and says 31 )
Mostly short journeys with a few spirtied drives each tank.
Just booked mine in now for the free 15 min check at my local dealers in Crewe. They did say though, if it needed replacement then they might not be able to do it that day, as they might need to order the part in! Another Renault Fail!
I'm after a set of Brembo HC Discs, and some braided lines.
Which are the best lines, Moquip or Goodridge.
For a 182, Where is the best place to get them from?
Cheers.
To get alot more Bhp from a 182, can mean Big Expense, you have to remember that the RS Engine is highly tuned already. Usual mods will see small gains, but without spending alot you'll struggle to get past 200bhp.
I've owned a 172 and a 182, and perfomance wise there isnt alot in it, but handling a cupped 182 is far superior.
Theirs two cup packs on the 182 - Spoiler pack which gives you larger rear spoiler and a front splitter and the Suspension pack, which is slightly lower/stiffer suspension and...
Yesterday's track day at Oulton Park (cheshire).
Silver 172 with Numberplate "TRIPOD". Was running slicks for the afternoon session and seemed to be going well.
T-Cut/Polish it yourself 1st and then take it to the body shop for a quote, as alot of that damage you can polish out yourself, should then cost you less!
I had my passenger front wheel on my 172 go bald on the outside edge, too much hammering around roundabouts. If its illegal in one place its illegal everywhere, get them replaced, can earn you 3 points these days.
