Yes, its thinner glass and not got the reflective coating... Just ring AutGlass or AutoWindscreens or whoever your insurance uses and they will fit the correct screen.

That is wierd! Like I said earlier, my Rallye was 151bhp @ wheels and Paddys mk2 172 was 152bhp @ wheels and although these are good results, you "should" be seeing somewhere in the 140s @ wheels for a standard 172 Transmission loss is no more than 15%

Here we go... again... The Cup IS a limited edition mate, they have not made them all the time theyve made the 172, numbers are actually limited and they stop production in Novemeber. It even says they are limited edition in some of the literature!

So youre saying it was 131bhp @ wheels and 174bhp @ fly then??? Thats a loss of 25% mate and waaaay too much for a fwd car! Its more like 15% loss, hence why I thought your @ wheels figure was poor....

Ive had loads of stuff for my R5 GTT off BB and never had a problem. All good stuff, decent prices, helpful people. K-Tec look just as good though and I will use them...

Not that good really... My old 306 Rallye was 142bhp @ wheels standard, then I fitted a Group N air filter and re-ran the thing a few minutes later and got 151bhp @ wheels. Thats from an allegedly lower powered engine! ;) Paddys standard mk2 172 made 152bhp @ wheels though!!! :o

Well, I bought a new head unit... Its a Kenwood KDC-V7090R model, top spec MASK with the vario colour changing display! http://techtronics.com/uk/images/kenwood/kenwood-kdc-v7090r-X.jpg A guy at work had it in his MG-TF which he recently sold, so I got it off him.

Certainly not... ;) I picked up my brand new Cup last week and you will not be dissapointed!

Yeah, or something lower than that (1500rpm rings a bell) as he tested it on his mk2 apparently... Basically the 172 just has very high lift cams in as standard and the VVT is just to adjust the idle, so its smooth and emissions are ok. They kick at about 5000rpm is just the car coming "on...

I was amazed at how mailto:cr@p">cr@p the standard ones are... They have a plastic chassis, cheap paper cones, the magnets are tiny and the whole speaker is very lighweight. Wheras the JBL ones are in complete contrast and theyre still only cheap!
