Your local Renault dealer... My new Cup came with clear repeaters on and theyre much better than the aftermarket clear ones my mate fitted to his mk1 and you cant see the orange bulbs. Not expensive either.

The +ve wires are the ones next to the clip on the speaker plug. Youll understand what I mean when you take them out & look. Yeah, the JBLs are a direct fit, no messing about...

I tried everything, but it had thrown a wobbly... :confused: Sorted now though, as I just disconnected the battery for 5 mins and its reset everything, so no more beeps and Ive armed & disarmed RAID a couple of times, but all works fine now. Just a glitch it seems?!

Its the black plastic bumper trim/extension that fastens to the underneath of the bumper...

I disarmed the RAID (auto door locking) on my Cup this morning and since then I get a constant beeping (about every second) from the dahsboard and its driving me nuts!!! Cant re-activate RAID now, cant shut it up, dont know what to do... Anyone else had this?! Got any clues on how to stop...

Try an ECU reset mate... Disconnect the battery for about an hour and it will clear the memory and reset back to factory defaults, then "re-learn" the setup for your engine very quickly. Just take it out for a spin, let it warm up for a few miles, then give it some stick and see if its any...

There is no splitter as standard on a 172 Sport, only on a Cup...

Just rung the dealer now... Gearbox whine in 1st gear only is not good apparently! If it was low on oil it would make a noise in all gears, not just 1st and its also stiff getting out of 5th now, so I have been told to drive it carefully and get it in ASAP, so its going in this afternoon...

Was it making a noise?! Surely on a brand new car, with a brand new gearbox (thats so far not been hammered as Im running it in), then the gearbox should be ok...

Well the mk1 V6 was over 2 secs a lap slower than a Cup round Bedford and only just beat a mk2 172 when Evo gathered the various sporty Clios together for the Group test last year, so I should hope that the mk2 is better and should beat the Cup now. Its a totally different car though, not just...

Smaller wheels are generally better for acceleration... But, if the tyres aint as good youll lose traction off the line and its the start that dictates the time really, so go with the best tyres. As for 16s looking better, you cant really say "well I got a slow time, but it looked good" can...

Take one of the old bulbs out mate and have a look at the pins...
