Ive started getting a loud click from steering wheel after turning right for what ever reason... sounda like its linked to the indicators of when they click off...
Any one have any ideas?
ok guys so take a look at this video i did...
http://www.ambroid.co.uk/images/extra/clio.mp4
so when you open and close the windows,
whats that flashing all about?
yer.... i tried putting my one back together after it fell out, got it all back together and well, it just was not the same after.
i don't suppose you have a link for where to get them smd strips at all.
i had already figured pins 1 and 3 do the light circuit too :P multimeter for the win lol
yer i got that orange filter rubbish out already lol. smd strip idea, now that's a thought!....
also word of advice about the 1,2,3,4 setting control, don't turn it too far with the control knobs off, it will bugger it up as i also found out! basically it looses the tactile feedback if that...
would you be so kinda as to take a photo?
possibly it was my previous heater control at fault, as it happens one of the bulb slots stopped working after i kept replacing the bulbs to get good brightness lol.
but when they were both in and working fine before it broke, it just wasn't that...
Ok so since I converted all my dash pretty much to blue there is one thing I have left to finish, that would be the heater controls.
Ive removed the orange strip from it already and I bought these smds to go in: http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/Blue-286-T5-3xPLCC-2-wedge-base-push-fit-led.html...
I can and do fix these for 15 pounds, but you will have to send the key to me recorded delivery. Frequent problem that is matey.
Main dealer 140 new key and coding.
Pm me if interested
but perhaps the tiny board in the one you have, will go into this, is it the same shape inside, if it is it might work. since you can just swap the blade and board over, but only if its the same shape inside...
the key you have is IR like you say, the other key types your seeing are probably looking like this, and they are not IR but radio i do believe.
radio key.
IR key
well these key fob's have grooves to slot each side into, so perhaps try putting a small amount of bluetac in the groove, maybe that would secure it better?
just an idea.
3 things that have been faults on my horn.
1 hit the horn with a hammer.
2 pull the connector out of the horn, clean and reinsert.
And.....
3 lift the cover from the steering wheel at the top, if you look in there you will see a red and black wire. If either of these looses the solder joint...
I keep getting this, when I enter the code 7080 into mine:
Error = doing my nut in.
this is the detail slip on the radio, which as far as I'm aware, gives the code 7080, unless I'm mistaken?
but its a tuner list radio, does that have something to do with it?
Exact problem I had... the key has a small pcb board inside and there is a tiny 5mm button which has likely came away from the board. I can fix this for you if you are prepared to send your key to me. Failing that a new key at main dealer would set you back around 140 pounds. Reason being they...
i believe you need clip to program on the new mileage (dont think you should reset ecu!!!!). providing you tell the mot place before hand, its not a failure as the odometer on cars is merely there for convenience i do believe.
