might have something to do with the stalk controls. i had the same problem with the connector on my pioneer, looked like the right connector but it was actually wrong, for a different year of clio. chances are, thats ur issue. maybe get a cd changer out of another clio on the same year? i dunno.

Dont forget the two torque screws behind the radio. They hold it In place as well. I tried changing one of them bulbs once just by removing the under panel but u have to know what to grab and also it is well awkward.

Just so people know. The problem was dry joints on the solder, all over the board as well not isolated to one part. Basically since its located near the middle heater panel that makes sense. Just needed some solder lovin. Lol
