measuring between red and yellow should always be 0v you need to go between red or yellow and ground (i tend to use door hinge)

oh yeah thats well wrong as they are getting there 12v from the same source(batt/alt) so should give a reading of 0v(no p.d)

um you should get 0v if you put the meter across red and yellow

standing waves mate they are there for a reason

make sure the front and back are not parallel need to slope one of the faces

i got a 52 plate dynamique + 1.6 and it didn't come with a cd changer but did come with a single cd player

if you got the dash off there is a lovely bolt at the top in the middle (already has an earth on it)

i wouldn't put a 60A fuse on 8 awg (10mm2) either tbh

nah 120 is about the max for 4 awg (25mm2) but allowable

yep you are going to have to stick with 4 ohms which tbh isn't that good (320wRMS @ 14.5v which you'll never see) you might be able to get a bit more out of it if you can get hold of a scope

have you reset the modem after changing over to the ethernet connection

harddrives have moving parts that are not going to like being in a car(notebook hd's arnt too bad) i've never had a problem with my Mp3 cd ever skipping

that will be near 100A most probs i only upgraded the ground from the batt to chassis to 25mm2 the alt will be earthed through the engine iirc the protection light might be comming on because the earth from the amp to chassis amoung other things
