there was no filter on the dials on mine or on the trip display the light is from what ever colour leds you use get the leds from here

you would need to change the lamps to white leds to get any so of decent colour out of the display beacause the little lamps are really yellow and s**t some thick coloured card maybe to replace the filter??

well it seems fairly easy for you to be able to get it say alpine or whatever with an after market hu so getting it to say 13.8v shouldn't be that hard surely

right there is a display on the dash that tells you tarck number and s**t(well used to lol) now it is just blank now i was thinking is the any to use the display to display the electrical system voltage. i'm thinking it can be done but got no idea where to start

yeah standard hu is poo (no matter what clio you got) if you get a new hu the changer will not work(not even with a alpine hu) the stalk controls are nice but not really needed as most hu's are designed to work from the face a facia adaptor is not needed as the standar hu is ISO sized

i really don't believe the hype about all these exspensive cable don't get me wrong they are important but mid range stuff is fine imho for interconnects and speaker cable as long as it has the correct ccc it's all good

that is a bit of a difficult one to diagnose remotely

ahh i see i thought you had a screw down terminal on the batt and you needed to find away to attach a cable

crimp a lug onto the end of the cable?

mate i'd guess that it would be pretty good as it is a solid conductor you could use the earth just ground it one end and it should act as a sort of drain wire for crosstalk:S
